With Every Sport Comes A Set Of Rules & Laws Covering It All

Badminston, like every sport played at more than just street level, needs rules for fairness and to give each player the knowledge that there is some point to the takng part.  In every walk of life there is a need for rules.   Some sections of community may suggest that they get along just fine without these strictures, but this isn’t actually the case.  The way members behave between each other and the wider network may look different, but every group, be it sporty or just social, will have their own set of rules and expected behaviours.

In fact there is a massive industry within the legal system that concentrates on matters of sport and the law – such is the huge contribution to the conomy that sport plays in the world.  A whole niche career can be built up around such matters as team contracts, individual player  agreements and transfers.  This is particularly so for football and rugby in UK and NFL, basketball, baseball etc in the US.   Allied to these at the highest level come rules surrounding immigration of foreign players and staff and sometimes when things don’t go quite to plan, discrimination laws comes into play.   Employment law for those who break too many rules and find themselves eased out of the team and football bans in place that call for challenges etc.  so many areas of sporting life are covered by sports law that it can some times feel as though the fun has been drained out of it.
